LOUIS P. STANASOLOVICH, CFP™
Louis P. Stanasolovich, CFP™, is founder, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), and President of Legend Financial Advisors, Inc.® (Legend®). Mr. Stanasolovich has been selected in 2004 by Robb Report Worth magazine as one of “The Nation’s 100 Most Exclusive Wealth Advisors”. Lou has also been selected by Worth magazine six times as one of “The 250 Best Financial Advisors in America”, four times by Medical Economics magazine as one of “The 150 Best Financial Advisors for Doctors in America”, and twice as one of “The 100 Great Financial Planners in America” by Mutual Funds magazine. He has been named to Investment Advisor magazine’s 2004 “IA 25” list, ranking the 25 most influential people in and around the financial planning profession.
Mr. Stanasolovich earned the Certified Financial Planner™ designation in 1984 and was admitted to The Registry of Financial Planning Practitioners in 1986. He is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA), and is a registered financial advisor with The National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA), the nation’s largest fee-only professional organization. He graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Mr. Stanasolovich is one of the co-founders of The Alpha Group. The Alpha Group, formed in 1990, is an exclusive association comprised of 17 senior investment advisors. All are principals of nationally recognized independent investment management firms throughout the United States. Collectively, they manage more than $4.0 billion of client investments.
Mr. Stanasolovich was elected to the International Association for Financial Planning (IAFP; a forerunner of the FPA) National Board of Directors for four consecutive one-year terms (1988-1992). He served as a member of the IAFP’s National Ethics Committee, Registry Committee, Education Committee, Investment Committee, and the Review Committee of The Registry of Financial Planning Practitioners. DIANE M. PEARSON, CFP™
Diane M. Pearson, Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP™), is the Director of Financial Planning and a Financial Advisor for Legend Financial Advisors, Inc.® (Legend®). Ms. Pearson has been with Legend® since its inception in January, 1994. She has over fifteen (15) years of experience in the financial advisory profession.
Diane is responsible for meeting with clients, researching client issues, preparing and presenting financial plans and updates and training staff associates in these areas. Her areas of concentration include estate planning, stock option exercise planning and pre- and post-retirement distribution planning. Diane chairs the firm’s financial planning committee and is a member of the investment committee. As the senior staff member, she oversees and/or serves as a resource for many of the firm’s day-to-day operations.
She graduated from Robert Morris University in December, 1985 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management and an Associate’s degree in Accounting.
She has been twice selected by Worth Magazine as one of “The 250 Best Financial Advisors in America”. Also, she is an active member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) and is a registered financial advisor with the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA), the nation’s largest fee-only professional organization. Ms. Pearson is also a member of The National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), where she holds the official position of Treasurer for the Pittsburgh Chapter and has been selected as the “Woman Business Owner of the Year” for 2004.

JAMES J. HOLTZMAN, CFP™, CPA
James J. Holtzman is a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP™) and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with Legend Financial Advisors, Inc.® (Legend® ). Mr. Holtzman is a Financial Advisor at Legend® and is also a member of the firm’s financial planning, investment management, advanced technology and education committees. Mr. Holtzman also serves as the firm’s Income Tax and Education Specialist.
Mr. Holtzman’s previous professional experience includes employment with various CPA and Financial Advisory organizations where he provided tax, accounting, auditing and financial consulting services to individuals and businesses. Jim’s responsibilities at Legend® include meeting with clients, researching client issues, and preparing and presenting financial planning cases and updates. His areas of concentration include income tax planning, estate planning, stock option exercise planning, insurance, retirement planning and Section 529 Plans.
Mr. Holtzman graduated from LaRoche College with Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting as well as in Administration and Management. Jim is a member of the Pennsylvania and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is also a graduate of the Pittsburgh Leadership Development Initiative and Pittsburgh Leadership Onboard Programs. Jim also serves on the LaRoche College Board Of Governors, is a member of the Finance Committee for the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership and is also a member of Pittsburgh Cares.

RONALD W. BARNER, CFP™
Ronald W. Barner is a Certified Financial Planner™ and Financial Advisor with Legend Financial Advisors, Inc.® (Legend®). He is also a member of the firm’s Financial Planning and Investment Management committees. Ron has over twenty (20) years of experience in the financial services industry.
Ron received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from The American University in Washington, D.C. He earned the Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP™) designation in 1993 and is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA). Ron served as Co-Education Chair in Central Pennsylvania’s Chapter of the FPA in 2001 and 2002. He was also the Chapter’s President-Elect in 2002 before moving to Pittsburgh. Ron has also served as President of the Exchange Club of York, Pennsylvania.
Ron’s primary responsibilities at Legend® entail working in both the Investment Management and Financial Planning departments. Specific duties include researching client issues, preparing and presenting financial cases, plans and updates, developing and implementing solutions, and communicating with clients on their financial issues. He also assists with creating investment recommendations, investment research, investment management reporting and analysis as well as conducting client presentations.

DAVID M. WOLFE, CPA, MBA
David M. Wolfe, CPA, MBA joined Legend Financial Advisors, Inc.® (Legend®) as a tax advisor in July, 2000. He previously founded the public accounting firm, David M. Wolfe, Certified Public Accountant in 1991. His public accounting firm provides services to small businesses and individuals that involve accounting, forms of business ownership, and tax planning and compliance issues.
Dave’s primary duties include providing tax advice to clients who are forming, currently own, or disposing of business entities. Dave also consults clients with regard to the tax ramifications of liquidations of real estate.
Mr. Wolfe has held staff and management positions in accounting, finance and sales with Deloitte & Touche, Gimbels, Rockwell International, Automatic Data Processing (ADP) and Mellon Bank.
Dave graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science degree, in accounting, and from The Ohio State University with a Masters of Business Administration degree.
Dave has served on the boards of directors and held various officer positions of the Cranberry Area Chamber of Commerce, Cranberry Rotary Club, American Wind Symphony Orchestra, Pine Creek Community Band, and his church.
