STAFF POSITIONS

Since its founding in 1994, Legend Financial Advisors, Inc.® (Legend) has become one of the fastest growing privately held companies in Pittsburgh.  Legend’s employee recruitment relies heavily upon finding the best talent through a number of sources; however, our most successful initiatives have come with our recruitment efforts at several reputable Pittsburgh-area universities.  Legend has developed a comprehensive, unique, and nationally profiled internship program.  Our program takes a huge step toward attempting to keep the young talent from the city’s universities in Pittsburgh.  This has a positive impact on our business structure because interns are extremely effective in supporting our regular staff in their day-to-day duties. 

 

Legend is fortunate to be able to provide its employees with competitive employee benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.  Legend has set forth a unique emphasis on training and education.  The firm strongly believes that having employees who are well-trained and educated is critical to the long-term success of not only the organization, but the individuals as well.  In addition, Legend’s interns engage in training via videos created by our regular staff.  Our innovative internship program and education processes have served to shape the organization into an environment of continuous learning and development. 

We offer internship opportunities year round in the areas of finance, marketing, information systems, audio/video technology, business administration, human resources, and administrative support for both graduate and under-graduate students. During the academic year, we accept both for-credit interns and non-credit interns (we can flex your schedule around your classes).

The positions are full-time during the summer and part-time during the academic year (we do not offer "summer only" internships).  We require a minimum of 250 work hours (this averages approximately 16 to 17 hours per week) during the fall and spring school semesters, including at least 45 hours on Saturdays.  During the summer, we require 40 work hours per week.
