Legend Financial Advisors, Inc.® (Legend) is a Non-Commission, Fee-Only, Fiduciary advisory firm with its headquarters located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  Legend provides Wealth Advisory Services including Financial Planning and Investment Management strategies to affluent and wealthy individuals as well as business entities and non-profit organizations.

Since its founding in 1994, Legend Financial Advisors, Inc.® (Legend) has become one of the fastest growing privately held companies in Pittsburgh.  Legend’s employee recruitment relies heavily upon finding the best talent through a number of sources; however, our most successful initiatives have come with our recruitment efforts at several reputable Pittsburgh-area universities.  Legend has developed a comprehensive, unique, and nationally-profiled internship program.  Our program takes a huge step toward attempting to keep the young talent from the city’s universities in Pittsburgh.  This has a positive impact on our business structure because interns are extremely effective in supporting our regular staff in their day-to-day duties. 

 

Legend has set forth a unique emphasis on training and education.  The firm strongly believes that having well-trained, educated employees is critical to the long-term success of not only the organization, but the individuals as well.  In addition, Legend’s interns engage in training via videos created by our regular staff.  Our innovative internship program and education processes have served to shape the organization into an environment of continuous learning and development.

We offer year round internship opportunities in the areas of Finance, Marketing, Graphic and Web Design, Information Systems, Audio/Video Technology, Business Administration, Human Resources, and Administrative Support for both graduate and under-graduate students.  During the academic year, we accept both for-credit interns and non-credit interns (we can flex your schedule around your classes).

We offer internships that are paid and are year-round (we do not offer “Summer Only” internships).  Positions are part-time during the academic year: a minimum of 15.0 hours worked per week are required.  During the Summer, our students work an expanded schedule of hours.
